Frequently asked questions about digital care
Do you have questions about digital care? We are happy to answer the most frequently asked questions. If your question is not listed, you can of course always contact us.
How can I request a digital consultation?
Our practice uses digital (or online) consultations. We use Spreekuur.nl (an online consultation service) for medical questions. To request a digital consultation via Spreekuur.nl, click the “start direct” (start now) button on the home page. Here you can create an account for spreekuur.nl or, if you already have an account, log in. After logging in, you choose the type of complaint and answer the questions. We do our best to answer your question within 1-2 working days. Sometimes our reply may be slightly delayed because the practice is busy and/or staff are absent. If you cannot wait for the answer (because you think your question is more urgent), we advise you to phone us for a call-back appointment. We strongly ask you not to request both a call-back appointment and a digital consultation, as we would otherwise be doing the same work twice.
What is Uw Zorg Online?
Uw Zorg Online (UZO) is a so-called 'patient portal' where you can arrange digital care. Through UZO you can request repeat prescriptions digitally yourself, make appointments online, view the diagnosis and treatment-plan entries in your medical record and your blood test results, and ask short questions digitally (messages). We ask you to use “messages” only for short questions (administrative ones, or about medication, for example). For medical complaints, we advise you to use spreekuur.nl.
The great thing about UZO is that you can arrange a lot of your care yourself without having to phone the practice first. You can use UZO or the UZO app 24/7. We do our best to answer your digital questions as soon as possible (within 1-2 working days).
How do I create a Uw Zorg Online account?
To create a Uw Zorg Online (UZO) account, go to our website and click “click here” under, for example, “make appointments online”. You will then reach our secure Uw Zorg Online patient environment. Here you can create an account that can be linked to your GP record using DigiD (the Dutch government login). Without DigiD, you will first need to show your ID at our practice and tell us that you have applied for a UZO account. We can then create the link manually.
Some of my medication is missing or shown incorrectly in the Medication overview of Uw Zorg Online.
All medication visible in the Medication overview of Uw Zorg Online (UZO) was entered manually as chronic medication by us (or a previous GP). Because this section for medication was not used as standard within the GP record, it may still contain old medication that you no longer use, or that you now use in a different dose. If you let us know (via the doctor's assistant or a message via UZO), we will check it and adjust it manually.
If medication is missing, you can also let us know via a UZO message. We can then activate this chronic medication for UZO, so that in future it will be visible to you and you can also request repeat prescriptions for it yourself via UZO.
Can Uw Zorg Online also be used via an app?
Yes, Uw Zorg Online also has an app version. To get it, go to www.uwzorgonline.nl and download the app from Apple's App Store or Google Play. After downloading the app, you can add our practice via <instellingen> (settings) and <zorgverleners beheren> (manage care providers). You add our practice by clicking the <+ Zorgverlener toevoegen> (add care provider) button and typing (part of) our practice name, Hohmann & De Vet, in the search screen.
