Working in healthcare
Vacancies at Hohmann & de Vet
Would you like to work in a beautiful, modern practice with a close-knit team? Come and get a feel for the atmosphere at Huisartsenpraktijk Hohmann & de Vet in Rotterdam-Kralingen.
The practice
Our practice was completely rebuilt and modernised in 2019: it is a wonderful place to work in beautiful surroundings. We are an NHG-accredited (Dutch College of General Practitioners) training practice in Rotterdam-Kralingen.
We think it is important that patients feel at ease with the practice and with our team. Every patient deserves respectful, good and person-centred care and attention, regardless of culture, religion or beliefs. Our patients are a lovely mix: many nationalities, young and old, from practically trained to highly educated, with plenty of students, young families and expats. We are an LGBTI+-friendly practice.
Our team
Our permanent team consists of GPs, practice nurses (physical health, elderly care and mental health) and doctor’s assistants. On the pages about our GPs, doctor’s assistants and practice nurses you can already get to know your future colleagues. We are also a training practice for doctor’s assistants, SOH (specialist practice nurse) trainees, medical students on clinical placement (coassistenten) and GP and elderly care medicine registrars (aios). So our team is regularly joined by colleagues in training.
There is a pleasant working atmosphere and short lines of communication between care providers and staff. We offer a dynamic workplace in a hard-working team, with room for personal development. Team spirit is highly valued: for example, we have Friday afternoon drinks and several team outings throughout the year.
